Currently traffic does not flow well in Tekapo’s commercial area. We are planning to improve traffic flow and are intending to implement progressive improvements over the next twenty years.

To address the current issues we need to:

• Maximise vehicle access and parking (data projections suggest we will require 300 more car parks by 2044).
• Work out the right balance between parking, pedestrians and future needs.
• Make sure that parking does not dominate and that public spaces are preserved. 

In this survey which ask which of the three scenarios you would most like to see applied to the specific areas in Tekapo.
