The Council has been funded by the Tourism Facilities Infrastructure Fund to construct a campervan waste disposal point in Fairlie.
Based on initial feedback and additional information on the proposed location adjacent to the Fairlie Golf Club, we explored a range of other options for the location of a public camper effluent dump station in Fairlie.
We now have a preferred location adjacent to our wastewater treatment area on Talbot Road.
The campervan waste disposal point would be of similar design to the one shown below and consist of two sumps in a raised concrete island and a concrete hardstand.
We will be updating this page as the project progresses.
