Submissions have now closed

The Mackenzie, Timaru and Waimate District Councils have opened consultation on the Joint Local Alcohol Policy. We want your thoughts on the draft policy, by 5pm Monday 30 October.

The draft policy proposes to rollover the existing policy with one amendment. This is because the current policy appears to, overall, be effective and striking an appropriate balance between minimising alcohol-related harm while enabling the legitimate purchase and supply of alcohol.
